Valentino Bellini (1984) is a documentary non-fictional photographer born and based in Palermo, Italy.
He graduated at CFP R.Bauer of Milan in 2010.
Valentino worked at Linke. lab in Milan from 2011 to 2013 specializing in fine art pirinting and image processing.
Since 2014, he is part of the ISSP team in Latvia as a co-director of the digital printing lab.
In 2012 he started a long-term photographic project on traffic and disposal of electronic waste in the developing world.
His work has been featured on L'Espresso, la Repubblica, Washington Post, the Huffington Post, and Vice among others.
In 2013 Valentino was shortlisted as a finalist for the UNICEF POY Award and for the APA/Lucie Foundation Scholarship Award.
In 2015 he was nominated for the World Press photo Joop Swart Masterclass as well as shortlisted for the Atkins CIWEN Environmental Photographer of the Year Award.
His photographic series covering the social crisis following the kidnapping of 43 students in Ayotzinapa, Mexico, it was screened at the VISA Pour l'Image Festival 2015 in Perpignan.
